RE: Which Tow Dolly?

Kar Kaddy SS as mentioned above. Easy to store, comes with brakes, and "steers" behind the MoHo.

RE: GFCI

If the breaker is tripping the problem is not with the GFI. This circuit could have the reefer or converter on it which might put it over the 15 amp breaker limit.
I think that is your problem. Try to find what else is on that circuit.

RE: Water Softeners

We also have been using the TravelSoft for several years. Recently I modified it to make regeneration easier. I added a filter on the in fitting, and all I need to do is take the cartridge out, fill it with salt, flip the filter housing upside down, and run the water slowly. When all the salt is gone, flip right side up, re-insert new cartridge, ready to go for another month or so.

RE: New Member-Hello and Thanks

American, Country Coach, Holiday Rambler and Monaco are just a few that make the bath an a half. I'm sure there's more.
If you feel like traveling, there is a BIG RV show in Tampa, in January.

RE: Pacifica motorhomes

Like I mentioned in your earlier post, check the CCC. We owned an Islander, and it was a great MoHo, very few issues. BUT, the Pacifica has a weight problem!

RE: Problem with PressurePro

Contact Pressure Pro, they are excellent to deal with. They may be able to provide you with a re-program for your monitor.

RE: Pacficia by National

Check the CCC for the coach. They are nice, and National made a fine coach, we had an Islander, but that particular model has weight problem.

RE: Generator Starter or Battery Problem?

Did you check connection at genset end?
Include the ones on the starter itself.
Yes to the generator end, good idea about the starter itself!
Next time I'm down there, I'll check those connections, have to take some panels off etc.
Thanks again!

RE: Generator Starter or Battery Problem?

The batteries are 2 pairs of series, one bank of 12V, they are about 1 yr old, the generator is 2 yrs old. I disconnected all connections, including grounds, cleaned all, re-installed with gel. After this the generator started better, BUT! If you'll notice my original post was several weeks ago, since then the MoHo has been in storage, with the battery switches on off, and a solar 15 watt panel hooked up to the "house" batteries. When I went yesterday to "exercise" the generator, it once again needed the boost switch to start, however, it did crank better before I applied the boost. I think the answer may lie in the length of the cables, as already mentioned, my next trick will be to install a dedicated battery to start the generator.

RE: How should I fix my trailer rock guard?

If you can pound it out from inside, that would be the least $$, and may end up looking fine.

RE: Runaway generator

You probably have a short in the start circuit at the generator, sometimes that happens when it gets wet. Look for the wire harness and there should be a plug/disconnect. Undo this, and that should prevent it from starting. Then you can have it looked at.

RE: I've done it now.

Sounds like your chassis batteries are dead. Put a charger on them and it should start. Then you can take it in for service.

RE: Power water hose reel stuck

You should be able to remove the cover. There are screws holding it on, the switches should come off, or just carefully lift the cover. You might try pulling the hose out slowly, to see if you can get it back on the reel.
